BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY

Every day, new technological tools appear, and all business owners use some tech tools daily. But still, they have some blind spots in understanding how technology works. At the same time, there are many techies that are passionate about technology and wishing to share their knowledge but having difficulties communicating and dealing effectively with the world of business. This phenomenon builds a gap between the “business” point of view and the “technological” point of view.



Leader of Go Global World Dmitry Khanin will tell you the communication gap that prevents effective collaboration between the business world and the technology world. Dmitry will try to bridge that gap by highlighting the main issues and suggesting a common ground, some sort of mutual intelligibility for the world of business and the world of technology, focusing on small businesses/startups and web technologies when it comes to the process of software development.


Dmitry has a PhD degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Digital Signal Processing. He worked for the Russian Federal Space Agency as Software Engineer for 11 years before starting his web development company in 2014. His personal passion is Asian cultures, he’s been researching it for the last 10 years, travelling and living in South Korea. In 2017 Dmitry moved to Australia under the skilled migration program.
